Wow, I am either really hormonal or that much of a sucker for emotional scenes.  *just finished crying through parts of the end of Ouran and the beginning episodes of Land of Wealth*  If I finished watching either Maiden's Vow and/or War and Destiny too, my tear ducts would be overworked.

You know a show is going to be super happy when it begins with the Empress having a concubine's limbs chopped off to stuff her into a vase to live out the rest of her life, and then one of the main characters's father being framed for stealing from the royal treasury so the whole family is executed.

Weekend viewing marathon results:
  • Better Halves (episode 20) - hurray for cheesy endings, at least it was happy...
  • Land of Wealth (episodes 1-2) - like Better Halves, except about banking in the Qing Dynasty (now there's a fun dynasty to set any drama in >.>) and not match-making in the Tang.  Oh, and a billion times sadder and more dramatic.  Moses, you look like you're getting a little chubby there, buddy
  • Red Garden (episodes 2-3) - good job on the WTF'ness, Gonzo, I approve so please continue
  • Avatar (episode 217) - hurray for plot!
  • Tsubasa (episode 51) - someone please put this filler out of its misery.  W00t!  Only one more episode to sub after this!
  • Shonen Onmyouji (episodes 1-2) - like tactics, except Masahiro is a less competent Kontarou, Guren is Haruka with a sense of humor, and no shonen-ai vibe thing going (at least none I would endorse in good conscience, he's 13 for cripe's sake)
  • Stargate Atlantis (episodes 9-10) - I have to wait another few months to see the end of this season?  On a cliffhanger?  Not on!
  • Ouran Host Club (episodes 24-26) - ;;_;; but ending++ (Kyouya is so awesome)
  • Digimon Savers (episode 16) - you really just aren't going anywhere are you?

Screw Washington D.C.  I want to go to Prague.  ♥♥♥ I think I'm in love with this program, although I'm both excited and frightened by the intensive Czech language requirement.

I'm sure I'll be back to being confused tomorrow though.  But at the moment, I want to study in Prague for a semester.

Do you think it's overdoing it if I spend this summer in China and then the following semester in Prague?
