Weekend again! Once again, I am without my teddy bear... Maybe I'll actually try to really "work" this weekend...
So I finally got ahold of the photos from last weekend's potluck. I made caramelized chicken and onion (recipe from here). The sauce was pretty heavy, mainly because I think I overdid the raspberry jam a little. It went pretty well.
This weekend is the International Festival, and we served bubble tea (we were really popular since we were the only table with any sort of drink ^^;;;). I'm surprised we even lasted an hour, since all the food was free (a mass calling to every CMU student). Then I'll be going to see dancing Tibetan monks tomorrow night, heh.
As for Thanksgiving, I'm still trying to decide on what to do. I can always fly down to Mexico to see Stef because CMU's exam schedule sucks ass. If I go back to NYC, I'll most likely hang around with
dm_san a lot (omg, TEA and CAKE!) and/or anyone that thinks family=ewww. And UNIQLO's Soho store will be open! Shopping in NYC > shopping in Pittsburgh. Of course, I can always stay just where I am, hang with Margaret and co. and probably work on the paper due the week right after.
Next weekend will be Sushi Weekend! Any suggestions on what kind of sushi we should try to make?
Come on, semester, let's be over already...
