Originally written for the Free Week Challenge at

Harry didn’t write in journals.
He had trouble expressing his thoughts in a thorough yet concise manner. Being concise was hard… There were always too many adjectives needed to describe something... The words would just spill over the page and bleed into the margins and that meager space left at the bottom of the page.
He was redundant too.
Snape always did say he would never be eloquent.
But time was limited and time always had to be accounted for.
It became a race between time and his words, but time always ran out before his words did and left---
