What kind of fucking moron leaves the window all open during 30 degrees Fahrenheit weather and freak tornado storm front residual wind at night? I nearly froze to death last night, wearing two layers under my blanket. So I close the window in the morning in hopes the room will warm up a bit by the time I get back from classes. Not only is it open again by the time I get back, she props her fucking light there so I can't close it.

I hope she catches fucking pneumonia since she sleeps right under it.

I'm going to go sit in the fucking hallway or something because this room is a fucking icebox.

Did I ever mention our "heating" doesn't work either?

*contemplates leaving a very rude post-it note on a closed window since she's only in the room to sleep for about 6 hours*

As long as she is not in the room anyway, just take her lamp down and put it wherever she keeps it and close the window. When you are in the room by yourself, you are in charge. When she's there alone, she can prop it open. And when you are both there, she should be willing to compromise, if not, go to the residence authorities. You both pay an equal amount, don't let her intimidate you. If you stand your ground politely, the school should back you.
