Quuen Elizabeth II is a Muggle. hehe^^ Such thoughts brighten my day. You know for that matter Prince Harry is a Muggle as well. Heh, quite fun.
Nice historical references as well. Most historians consider the beginnings of the British monarchy to start with William the Conqueror as opposed to the old Anglo-Saxon kings. (In this case the first King would've been Egbert) Given the names some of these people had it's no wonder the Royal family disowns them.
So is the town of Snape part of the Scottish countryside as well?
Eveerything seems fairtly solid. I often take cues from you on how to write descriptions or some of the more serious parts of my own work. Your writing alwys gives me some hope for fan fiction.
