So I've began planning for my upcoming container gardening projects. Last year, I was gifted a cherry tomato plant that has grown considerably but hasn't bore any fruit. I fear that I will just be scraping it and starting over with a new plant/seed.

What I am hoping to plant this year:
  • a container of mixed bok choy and carrots (little buggers both need to be sown straight into the soil so there will be a lot of thinning)
  • a determinate cherry or plum tomato plant: I'm leaning toward a Viva Italia cultivar of plum tomatoes so we can make our own sun-dried tomatoes
  • a strawberry plant of some sort
  • and if there is room in any of the containers, I may sneak in a few perennial or herbs near the edges

All in all, I will be managing three containers. Hopefully, I'm not overextending myself with all this.

Planting season starts in another month or so!

We're also tossing around the possibility of going to the New York Comic Con in February.
