Bored at work
Aug. 15th, 2008 11:45 amSo I had an interview for a Research Associate position earlier today. *crosses fingers* If I don't get this, I'm prepared to take this administrative position on a bit more permanent basis. Benefits are a wonderful thing, wouldn't you say?
But my supervisor is currently out of the office and things are always a bit slow when she's not around. So I'm posting to LJ instead.
Nothing really new in life. My kitty, Dolly, has been a bit more demanding than usual with me at work everyday and Mike out of town. Not that I can blame her. I began harness training her a few days ago, so I hope she'll get use to it soon so I can take her on walks. xD I've been continuing her other training in the meantime, she seems to have gotten the hang of "touch it," "sit," "up," and "down." I started teaching her "beg" last night, and I want to try "shake" and "fetch" in the coming week.
Don't look at me as if I'm crazy. It's possible to train a cat and it give me and her a sense of accomplishment.
It's going to be a long day at work... ENTERTAIN ME!
