I could almost hate dogs...

So we ended up babysitting Joe and Kim's 2-month-old pit bull terrier mix.  I had a meeting (which unfortunately lasted an hour and a half), during which she managed to pee on my bookbag.  That dog has the worst sense of timing.  We try to take her out every two hours exactly, and still 3 times today she's managed to pee just as we're trying to get her out.  ARGH!  Yes, I know she's a puppy and all that, but Jesus fucking Christ.  Not to mention we were expected to watch her for 10 hours from 9AM to 9PM, but then they call and said they wouldn't be back until 1-2AM.  NOT ON!

Neither Mike or I have much experience dealing with puppies of this age and one that's not properly housetrained yet either.  Ugh, sweetie that she is.  She is a hellion though.  Managed to mess up my bookbag, scratch Mike's glasses to the point they can't be worn, and nipped any number of people.  She started to gnaw on my ankle too.  And discovered a strange fascination with my hair...and Angela's hair...

And another thing, WHEN THE PEOPLE TAKING CARE OF THE FUCKING DOG WARNS YOU NOT TO LET HER BITE YOU, THE PROPER RESPONSE IS NOT: "It's okay, I know/handle dogs." AND THEN PROCEED TO LET HER GNAW ON YOU UNTIL YOU DO FEEL A BIT OF A TUG, AND WE HAVE TO THEN TRICK HER OFF YOUR FUCKING HAND.  WE DON'T WANT HER TO BITE SO SHE LEARNS IT'S NOT PROPER BEHAVIOR AND SO SHE'S NOT CHEWING ON EVERY PERSON THAT LIVES IN THE APARTMENT WITH HER.  I can't tell you HOW MANY FUCKING MORONS did that today when we took her out.  Then again, if you're stupid enough to let her gnaw on you, you're better off wiped from the gene pool.

I am going to bed...  And looking forward to the idea of getting a cat, something much more my pace.
