Excuse me while I go cry in the corner
Jul. 29th, 2006 05:16 pmThe trailer for The Departed (Hollywood remake of Infernal Affairs) is here...
I can't even tell Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon apart in this trailer (shut up, they do look exactly alike). They even copied the movie theater scene straight from the original...
To be fair, the next trainwreck waiting to happen on the HK cinema side has to be Jackie Chan's next HK film, Rob-B-Hood. This is going to be either really good or really bad. From the same people that brought you The Myth, maybe this will be better 'cause it's settled on one genre. Although, the idea of a cross-dressing Louis Koo discussing breast feeding is very very disturbing...
*facepalm* And Jackie Chan (along with the sidekicks) singing a children's song... JACKIE, WHY ARE YOU STUFFING TISSUES INTO THAT KID'S MOUTH?!?!?! That's not cute, that's abuse! Good baby! Slap that jackass for trying to suffocate you. Maybe this is the second sign that Jackie is finally losing it.
This movie is going to prompt a lot of Jackie Chan/Louis Koo jokes, isn't it?
Okay, off to buy groceries and then maybe watch Election and Election 2 later to make myself feel better.
