First off, dear whichever studio, what is up with this new opening? The start looks and sounds like music from the 80s (or Grease for that matter...) I'll probably get used to it though.

Clone/Evil!Syaoran! Why does clone!Syaoran look so much younger?

So the new season starts out in Piffle World with the Dragonfly race. I can't remember but did Piffle World come before or after the world with Ashura and the the castle in the sky? Either way, the animation style is really nice and really clean. Although that'll probably go away after this first episode. >.>

Kurowan drives!!! xDDD They're like a happy family going out for a drive! And you can see Kurogane's muscles in that black t-shirt!

And everyone stares at Magical-Girl!Tomoyo! xDDD

Beware the legions of (doom) Tomoyo ~~fangirls~~ bodyguards.

As Mokona would say: "Syaoran-kun to Sakura-chan RABU RABU~! <3"

Now to our two "adults" watching in the background.

Anyway, so Fai just said something to Kurogane about Tomoyo and Kurogane said something in return. Flash to Fai's caught off-guard expression with dilated pupils and Ashura-ou's underwater coffin. Wait a second! Fai is usually way better guarded than that! Not that I'm not happy with Kuro's confronting. I wanna know what they're saying! *flails about*

Then the villains with bad haircuts show up, but no one cares about them. And the eyecatches are back! The race begins and we see a pan of the characters they've met in previous worlds. The "deep" music as they're waiting for the green light is too amusing.

How cute, they ~~flirt~~ argue in mid-air too. xDDD Fai goes ahead and Sakura is having trouble piloting. Kurogane leads the charge across the first finish line for the preliminaries with Fai right behind! Damn Kurogane's Dragonfly (?) reminds me of a stingray. What happens next? I'll post more later after I come back from seeing PARTY.
