Heh, I suppose it does look like Dumbledore knows, but in truth, he has no freaking clue. Well, that's what I imagined at least. My feelings are that if Dumbledore really knew, he would have called Harry out on his own without stringing Severus along for the trip. I know most fanfics write it otherwise, but I feel the complete opposite.
I'm sorry that this chapter was more difficult for you. I admit this chapter is a bit heavier than most of the others. I hope you got the gist of the plot though. Maybe my explanations for plot points were a bit convoluted?
