For love or money? :(
I know I said something about food blogging other something but I've been far too lazy to photoshop the photos. Of course, classes have all decided I have had too much idle time is proceeding to take a number at kicking my ass. Next round is: Experimental Design (aka Computerized Stats from Hell) vs Alecto.
On the totally random note: I adore business suits. If I have a random fetish, it would probably be business suit. Maybe it's the Virgo in me, but I think guys in suits are hot. xD Yes, I am weird, thank you. It's times like this I think I should have followed everyone else into business and gone to school at Babson or something. Today was the TOC (Technical Opportunities Conference aka techie job fair), so there were a decent amounts of suits walking around campus. And tomorrow is the BOC (Business Opportunities Conference), where the dress code is 100 times more strict so yay! More suits!
On the other hand, seeing so many people go to TOC & BOC makes me feel like "FAILURE!" I decidedly lack the qualifications to work in the "real world" (which is why I'm planning on hiding away in academia for as long as I can). Not to mention, I seem to fall under the "Odd Majors Out": double major in Psychology and International Relations, considering an additional minor in Chinese language. Ok, so that's less useless than say...Philosophy. I suppose I should attend the BOC and see what's going on, but having not really planned ahead, I don't have a suit jacket/blazer. Maybe I'm just sad over the lost opportunity to dress up real professionally (and look less like a 16-year-old). There's always next year...
Note to self: Make appointment with career counselor to stop getting hung up over subject of future employment/employability.
PS to self: Please stop being so type A, you are literally killing yourself this way and making other people miserable along the way.
Dear Prison Break,
I love you and all, but are we really going back to digging AGAIN?
wtf,
Alecto
Edit: Michael Scofield + Suit = Breaking out of prison hotness!

... well... I can understand some fat, balding old guy in a suit not so hot... but hot guys in suits = super hot.
I'm not ready for the world either. D:
But at least International Relations sounds good... I'm just a plain old Psych major. :PP

CMU has a stupid credits system. It's almost like you have to take a double major at least to help structure your requirements.
Psych majors unite! Bound by our common bond of living from one grant to another! Real world is scary anyway...

Gross. At WashU you just have to take a bunch of RANDOM ASS STUFF to fufill your clusters. :\
Real world is really scary. D:
